Crafty Break seeks to provide joy, confidence and calm to kids of all ages through fun, skill-based craft sessions.
Little kids- for these little people art and craft can be used to improve language, maths, and fine motor skills, whilst providing a moment of calm and a form of expression and joy.
Big kids – for the big kid in us all, we can all enjoy the art of creativity and expression, in a fun shared environment, with cocktails for that added splash of indulgence.

About Crafty Break
Hi I’m Jen! I spent eight years working as a primary school teacher, in both the UK and South Africa, before leaving the profession and having two children of my own.
My years working with children taught me that creativity and fun are a great way to package learning.
As a mum of young children, I attended lots of children’s groups and classes and noticed a gap – no craft sessions for small children. Some classes that included some art and craft but often result-based activities. Nothing that really allowed a child to show their own creative spark.
Crafty Break aims to ignite and nurture children’s creativity through a mix of skill-focused activities and open-ended craft challenges.
Our sessions are a chance for your child to explore craft as independently as they can. The skills -based activities aim to build up basic crafting knowledge to allow your child more freedom in the challenge activities.
